Use it up. Do not throw something away until you have cut open the bottle and gotten every last bit!

Use what you have. The beauty industry loves to sell you the idea that you always need the next big product, but challenge this idea! Buy something only if you really want it and if you do, treat yourself! It will feel so much better anyways.

There are lots of single-use beauty/skincare products like makeup wipes, cotton rounds, q-tips, etc. Find reusable versions of these! There are many. You could also use fabric scraps/rags that you already have

The less packaging the better- invest in full size products instead of minis if you know you are going to use the item up

Always recycle products when possible; even better, reuse jars and containers to store hair clips, hair bands, makeup brushes, etc.

Repurpose mascara wands- there are companies that will take cleaned wands to use as brushes for small animals

When buying new product, look for makeup brands that use plastic free materials
